In February 2018, the City of San Diego awarded the design-build AC Water and Sewer Group 1024 to Orion. The project involves installation of over 16,000 linear feet of new sewer and water pipeline in several locations in San Diego.
In January 2018, the City of Carlsbad awarded Orion a project to construct and rehabilitate storm drain systems within the City. The project is part of the City’s drainage master plan.
In January 2018, NAVFAC Southwest awarded Orion a project to repair wastewater pump stations on Piers 1 & 2 at Naval Base San Diego. The pump stations serve the Navy surface warfare ships while they are docked at base.
In January 2018, The Helix Water District recently awarded Construction Project “Pipeline 4459” to Orion. The project includes replacement of over 13,000 linear feet of pipeline in the Helix Water District jurisdiction.
On January 15th, Orion honored at the AGC Installation dinner for excellence in safety. Jason Danks, Orion’s safety and operations manager, accepted the award on Orion’s behalf.
In December 2017, Orion was awarded an emergency project with the City of San Diego, the Kearny Mesa Pipeline Access Structure Emergency.
In January 2017, NAVFAC Southwest awarded Orion a project to repair a potable water reservoir in Camp Pendleton, CA. The project involves replacement of a 102′ reservoir roof with a new aluminum roof and a new interior liner.
Orion awarded the new construction project “Sewer Pump Stations 13, 14, 16, 25A & 85 Dual Force Mains and SPS 76 Generator” by City of San Diego. Orion was the third lowest bidder on this project.
Orion is selected as one of six contractors for NAVFAC Southwest’s five-year Demolition MACC for demolition and site preparation projects in the Southwestern United States.
Orion selected as one of five contractors for the upcoming five-year City of San Diego MACC project for wet utility work in the San Diego area.
